Looking at BTC on the 4h, I'm going to mark the key S/R zones that have repeated reactions, then lay out the clean scenarios from here.
4h S/R levels (now marked)
Resistance (supply)
- 65,200–65,650 — major local supply (prior swing high area).
- 64,200–64,550 — near-term ceiling (price is sitting just under/inside this band now).
Support (demand)
- 62,800–63,250 — key pivot / retest zone (lots of reactions; first “must hold” on pullbacks).
- 61,600–62,150 — deeper support (prior base before the push).
- 58,600–59,350 — range low / demand (the July low region; if we lose this, the 4h picture deteriorates hard).
4h analysis
Structure: We sold off into ~58k, then put in a strong recovery leg back into the mid-64k's. Since then it's been choppy consolidation with impulsive spikes (good for liquidity traps, not good for lazy entries). Current price ~64.3k is pressing a near-term resistance band.
Verdict: neutral — compressing under resistance; bullish continuation is possible, but not confirmed.
Tradeable scenarios
1) Bullish continuation (only if we reclaim)
- Trigger: 4h acceptance above 64,550 and then pressure into 65,200–65,650.
- What we want to see: pullbacks that hold 64.2–64.55 as support (retest), not immediate rejection wicks.
2) Rejection / pullback (most common outcome under supply)
- Trigger: failure to hold 64.2–64.55 → drift back toward 62.8–63.25.
- Key decision point: if 62.8–63.25 holds, that's the spot where a higher low can form (better long location than chasing 64k).
3) Breakdown (risk-off)
- Trigger: clean loss of 62.8–63.25, then 61.6–62.15 becomes last defense.
- If 61.6–62.15 fails, odds rise that we revisit 58.6–59.35 demand.
A final note (don't donate liquidity)
Right here (mid 64k under resistance) is where traders get chopped up: buying into the ceiling or shorting into a bounce without confirmation. Best risk/reward comes from either:
- buying support (62.8–63.25) after it proves it can hold, or
- buying a confirmed reclaim above 64.55 with a retest,
- shorting only after a clear rejection from 65.2–65.65 (not mid-range).
If you tell me your intended direction (long/short) and whether you're trading a swing or an intraday move, I'll map a clean entry/stop/target off these zones.
